Widefield Images

Widefield imaging is shooting the sky with either just a camera lens or a short focal length telescope where large celestial structures are visible. This could be constellation, large nebulae, or even the Milky Way.

In this album, I have a bit of everything. All of these images were shot with my Nikon DSLRs – some using lenses, others through my 480mm f/6 apochromatic refractor. For the camera and lens images, some are also tracked using an iOptron SkyTracker.
